  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in olive oil, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  4. Dredge the oiled chicken through the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to help it adhere.
  5. Arrange the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes until golden.
  7. Remove from oven and spoon marinara over each breast. Top with shredded mozzarella.
  8. Return to oven for another 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Allow the dish to rest for a few minutes before serving.
