Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a flavorful spice blend.
  3. Rub the olive oil over both sides of the chicken breasts, ensuring even coverage.
  4. Coat the chicken with your spice mix, making sure each piece is well-seasoned.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Brush half of the BBQ sauce over both sides of the chicken and return it to the oven for another 10 minutes.
  7. Apply the remaining BBQ sauce on top and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken overnight in BBQ sauce and using a meat thermometer to ensure juiciness.
