A quick and impressive Parmesan Crusted Chicken with a crispy, cheesy crust that turns dinner into a memorable feast.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Beat the eggs in a shallow bowl and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Combine the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs in another bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  5. Roll the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear each chicken breast for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and bake for about 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.

Notes

For an extra crunchy crust, consider adding crushed cornflakes or panko to the breadcrumb mixture.
