These Pepperoni Pizza Sliders are a crowd-pleasing appetizer featuring layers of pepperoni, provolone cheese, and pizza sauce on sweet Hawaiian rolls, brushed with a buttery-brown-sugar glaze and baked until golden.

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 24 Pepperoni slices
  • 6 Provolone cheese slices
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, oregano, and garlic powder until smooth. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom rolls, top with provolone cheese slices, and add a layer of pepperoni.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls over the pepperoni and press gently.
  6. Brush the butter glaze evenly over the tops of the sliders.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Let the sliders rest for 2–3 minutes before slicing, serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These sliders can be customized with different meats or vegetarian options. Allow to cool before refrigerating leftovers.
