A quick and flavorful Peruvian dish featuring grilled chicken marinated in spices and served with a creamy green sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl, ensuring they are fully coated with the marinade. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and you see beautiful grill marks.
  5. While the chicken is grilling, prepare the creamy green sauce by blending mayonnaise, chopped cilantro, jalapeño, and lime juice in a food processor until smooth.
  6. Once the chicken is grilled, serve it with the creamy green sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

Marinate longer for more flavor; use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter option.
