  • 1 loaf of sliced brioche bread
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cut into chunks
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: Fresh fruits, nuts, or whipped cream for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your baking dish and layer the sliced brioche bread evenly across the bottom.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the arranged bread slices; ensure each piece is generously coated.
  5. Scatter the cream cheese chunks on top.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  7. The next day, bake the casserole for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
