A delightful fusion of flavors transforming gatherings into fiestas with juicy, shredded pork in warm corn tortillas topped with fresh ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Corn tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Chopped onions for topping
  • Sliced radishes for serving
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. In your slow cooker, combine the pork shoulder with the chopped onion, minced garlic, orange juice, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  3. After cooking, shred the pork into bite-sized pieces using two forks.
  4. Serve the warm, shredded pork on corn tortillas, topped with fresh cilantro, chopped onions, sliced radishes, and a squeeze of lime.

Notes

Opt for a pork shoulder with some marbling for juiciness. Don’t rush the cooking process for the best flavors. Consider warming tortillas on a skillet before serving.
