A quick and delicious chicken dish simmered in rich spaghetti sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • Perdue Perfect Portions boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Ragu Extra Meat Spaghetti Sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (for cooking)
  • Optional: Spaghetti or low-carb alternative for serving
  • Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Optional: Garlic bread for serving
  • Optional: Crushed red pepper or Italian seasoning for seasoning
  • Optional: Sautéed vegetables (bell peppers, mushrooms) for added nutrition

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the boneless skinless chicken breasts. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Pour the Ragu Extra Meat Spaghetti Sauce over the chicken. Simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through.
  4. Serve hot, either on a bed of pasta or on its own. Enjoy!

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before cooking for a nice sear. Brown in batches to avoid steaming.
