A comforting and flavorful casserole made with sausage, eggs, and cheese, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

  • 1 pound sausage, crumbled
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 2 cups bread cubes (optional)
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the crumbled sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and milk in a mixing bowl; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grease a baking dish and layer the cooked sausage, optional bread cubes, and any chopped vegetables.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set and cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving, then cut into squares.

Notes

To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the microwave or a preheated oven.
