  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled sausage or bacon (optional)
  • Herbs and spices (like garlic powder, onion powder, or chives) to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until everything is well combined.
  3. Cut in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add in the shredded cheese, then the eggs and milk. Mix until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  5. If you’re using sausage or bacon, fold in the cooked meat along with any preferred herbs or spices.
  6. Scoop spoonfuls of the dough onto your prepared baking sheet, spacing them out evenly.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
