A simple and flavorful slow-cooked chicken dish, perfect for busy weeknights. Juicy and tender, it’s great on its own or in tacos.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a small bowl.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the seasoned chicken.
  5. Add the chicken broth or water around the chicken.
  6. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Shred or slice the chicken as desired when fully cooked and tender.
