Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté until softened.
  6. Stir in chicken broth and sour cream, mixing until you have a well-blended sauce.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it with the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes to heat through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken with garlic powder and seasonings for a few hours. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of chicken broth to adjust consistency.
