A comforting dish featuring jumbo pasta shells stuffed with a creamy blend of four cheeses, topped with marinara sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the shells and let them cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, Gorgonzola, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into each shell generously.
  5. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shells seam-side up in the dish.
  7. Pour remaining marinara sauce over the shells and drizzle with olive oil.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and edges are browned.
  10. Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, replace half the ricotta with part-skim cottage cheese. If needed, swap Gorgonzola for more Parmesan.
