A quick and comforting dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a rich, buttery sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine the unsalted butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Carefully add the chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden-brown and ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any flavorful bits. Stir in the butter mixture and cook until smooth.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to coat with the sauce, and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot!

Notes

For a different flavor, substitute smoked paprika with regular paprika, or honey with maple syrup. Pair with rice or veggies for a complete meal.
