A towering sandwich filled with layers of turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, perfect for family lunches or casual brunches.

Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bread (white or whole grain)
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon
  • 4 ounces of sliced turkey breast
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by toasting the three slices of bread until golden brown.
  2. Spread mayo on one side of each slice.
  3. Start with the first slice, mayo-side up, and layer the turkey evenly.
  4. Add lettuce and tomato slices, seasoning them with light salt and pepper.
  5. Top with crispy bacon for that satisfying crunch.
  6. Take the second slice, placing it mayo-side down on the bacon. Spread more mayo on top and repeat the turkey, lettuce, tomato, and bacon layering.
  7. Finish off with the final slice of toast, mayo-side down, and gently press to compact.
  8. Slice the sandwich in half diagonally or straight to showcase the beautiful layers. Serve immediately for optimal enjoyment.

Notes

For a lighter option, swap the bacon for turkey bacon. Use gluten-free bread if you’re going wheat-free.
