My Story
As a former college athlete, I’ve always cared about what went on my plate—but back then, it was all about calories and protein grams, not flavor. I ate the same grilled chicken, brown rice, and broccoli combo so often I practically sweat garlic powder. Eventually, I burned out. Hard. I was tired of eating like a robot just to feel “healthy.”
After graduation, I started working full-time and training part-time, and I realized something had to change. I still needed meals that could fuel my active lifestyle—but I also wanted food that made me excited to eat again. So I took what I knew from sports nutrition, studied meal prep strategies that actually worked, and taught myself how to cook meals that hit all my macros and my taste buds.

It was the best pivot I’ve ever made—and it’s why I now help others do the same.
The Turning Point
The real shift came one week when I meal-prepped the “perfect” macro meals… and tossed them all by Wednesday. I couldn’t force myself to eat another dry turkey burger or chalky protein pancake. I remember standing in my kitchen at 9 p.m. starving, frustrated, and Googling “how to make healthy food taste good.”
That night, I started playing with my air fryer like it was a lab experiment. I took one chicken breast, some Dijon, a little smoked paprika, and a high-protein yogurt base—and suddenly I had crispy, juicy chicken that I wanted to eat. That one recipe turned into dozens. I started documenting them, testing them, and sharing them online.
Now, I help busy, active people build meals they can’t wait to eat—all while hitting their goals.
What I Learned the Hard Way
Meal prep without flavor is a fast track to burnout. I learned the hard way that if I don’t like what I’m eating, I’ll find every excuse not to eat it—even if it’s “good for me.” I also wasted a lot of time in the beginning chasing trends instead of learning foundational cooking skills.
There were weeks I prepped for hours only to end up UberEats-ing something by Thursday. What I really needed wasn’t more restriction—it was smarter systems, flexible recipes, and flavors that made me want to stick with it.
My Approach Now
I believe in building high-protein meals that taste amazing, hold up in the fridge, and make you feel like a boss in the kitchen—even if you only have 30 minutes. My method focuses on batch-prepping components (proteins, sauces, grains) you can mix and match, so you don’t eat the same thing every day.
I keep ingredients real, prep time tight, and macros balanced. Think crispy salmon bowls, air fryer turkey meatballs, protein oatmeal bakes—all the hits with none of the diet vibes. And yes, I still track my meals… but I enjoy every bite now.
What I Believe
- Food should fuel your life—not limit it
- High-protein doesn’t mean flavorless
- Prep smarter, not stricter
- You can build muscle and still love your food
- A good sauce can save any meal

A Little More About Me

I live in Austin, Texas, where I split my time between coaching, cooking, and trying every taco truck within city limits. I’m a bit obsessed with flavor chemistry, and I believe there’s no such thing as “too much garlic.”
When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m lifting, biking around town, or deep-diving into food science YouTube. I’ve also been known to turn protein powder into cookies that actually taste good.
