A warm and hearty bowl of baked oats that’s delicious, nutritious, and easy to make in an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup old-fashion rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ large over-ripe banana
  • 3 tbsp almond milk or oat milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Optional: 1 tbsp peanut butter or 1 tbsp almond butter
  • Optional mix-ins: 2 tbsp chocolate chips, 2 tbsp blueberries, extra banana slices, 2 tbsp rainbow sprinkles, or 2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 290°F and lightly grease a single-serve ramekin or baking dish.
  2. In a high-speed blender, combine all the base ingredients: oats, egg, banana, almond milk, vanilla extract, baking powder, and ground cinnamon. Blend on high for 20 to 30 seconds until well incorporated.
  3. Stir in your chosen mix-ins for extra flavor.
  4. Pour the blended batter into your prepared ramekin.
  5. Cook in the air fryer at 290°F for 12 to 15 minutes. Check at the 7-minute mark and cover the top with aluminum foil if it’s browning too quickly.
  6. Once cooked, enjoy warm, topped with additional banana slices or a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.

Notes

Experiment with different mix-ins and toppings to suit your taste. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
