Warm, comforting, and subtly sweet baked oats that are nutritious and customizable with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (or any non-dairy milk)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup fruits or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, baking powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Fold in your choice of fruits or nuts if desired.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Allow it to cool slightly before cutting into squares.

Notes

Baked oats can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Reheat in the microwave for a quick meal.
