Delicious skewers of crispy chicken coated in a creamy, spicy sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the bang bang sauce.
  3. Toss the cubed chicken in a portion of the sauce until it’s well-coated.
  4. Thread the chicken onto the skewers evenly.
  5. Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is fully cooked.
  6. Serve the skewers with the remaining bang bang sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

You can use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter version. Adjust the sriracha to suit your heat preference.
