A simple yet flavorful marinade that elevates the taste of chicken, perfect for grilling or baking.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  2. Place your chicken in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated.
  4. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes; overnight is ideal.
  5. Grill or bake the chicken until fully cooked.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use tamari instead of soy sauce. You can also substitute honey with agave nectar.
