An easy and flavorful marinade that elevates grilled chicken, perfect for barbecues and weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, black pepper, and salt in a bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
  2. Place chicken pieces in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring every piece is well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours. If you’re short on time, let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill and then grill the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, swap soy sauce for tamari. Substitute honey with maple syrup for a vegan version.
