A comforting, cheesy casserole combining the best of breakfast and pizza for a satisfying meal any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough or crust
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or your choice)
  • 1 cup breakfast meats (bacon, sausage, or ham)
  • 1 cup vegetables (bell peppers, onions, spinach, or your preference)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Additional toppings of choice (like herbs or additional cheese)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough or crust, then place it into a greased baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and milk in a mixing bowl. Don’t forget to season with salt and pepper!
  4. Stir in your choice of cooked breakfast meats and chopped vegetables for added flavor.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over your prepared crust, then sprinkle everything with cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow the casserole to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Prep ahead by assembling the casserole the night before and baking it fresh in the morning. Can be made vegetarian by omitting meat and adding more vegetables.
