  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons (25g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set it aside.
  2. Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a shallow dish, whisk the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract together until fully blended.
  3. Assemble the Roll-Ups: Gently flatten each slice of bread. Spread melted butter on one side, sprinkle with a generous amount of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and carefully roll the bread tightly from one end to the other.
  4. Cook the Roll-Ups: Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture to ensure thorough coating. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Serve: If you used toothpicks to hold the roll-ups together, be sure to remove them before serving. Enjoy immediately for the best flavor!
