A delightful dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a rich, velvety garlic sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or pasta for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, making sure they are evenly coated.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through.
  4. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
  5. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream and allow it to cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet, making sure to thoroughly coat it in the creamy sauce.
  9. Serve the chicken over your choice of cooked rice or pasta, and optionally garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Leftover can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat on low heat, adding chicken broth or cream if needed.
