A quick and comforting creamy garlic chicken dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners. Tender chicken in a luscious garlic cream sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  2. Sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Once done, remove the chicken and set it aside.
  3. Using the same skillet, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to mix. Allow the mixture to reach a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Keep stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, generously spooning the sauce over the pieces. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes for the flavors to deepen.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Adding spinach or sun-dried tomatoes can elevate the flavor.
