A luxurious yet simple dish featuring perfectly seared chicken breasts in a rich garlic Parmesan cream sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally or pound to an even thickness and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to low, add butter, and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream to deglaze the pan, then add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until thickened.
  5. Return the seared chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 2-3 minutes until heated through and coated.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken in Italian dressing or add red pepper flakes for a hint of heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
