Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta, cooked separately

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend together the cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, chicken broth, melted butter, and the dry Italian dressing mix until smooth.
  2. Place the chicken breasts or thighs into the Crock Pot and pour the creamy sauce over the top.
  3. Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  4. Once cooked, shred or slice the chicken right in the sauce, stirring to coat it well.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions.
  6. Serve the creamy chicken and sauce over the pasta, garnishing with parsley or Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Pairs well with garlic bread and a green salad. Add a splash of chicken broth when reheating leftovers.
