Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Carefully place the seasoned chicken breasts in the pan and sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Add the chicken broth or white wine to deglaze the pan and scrape up the browned bits.
  5. Stir in the butter to enrich the sauce.
  6. Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to swap out fresh herbs with dried ones if needed. For added flavor, consider serving with a squeeze of lemon juice.
