  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk (or almond milk)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mix-ins (e.g., nuts, seeds, dried fruit)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the whole wheat flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk until everything is well mixed.
  3. Mix together the softened butter, milk (or almond milk), honey (or maple syrup), and egg in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients gradually into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in Greek yogurt (if using) and your choice of mix-ins.
  6. Drop dollops of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping them into biscuit forms.
