A comforting dish of tender chicken breasts combined with a rich, creamy sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 7-8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine it with the mushrooms and garlic. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, making sure each piece is well-coated with the creamy sauce.
  6. Heat everything together for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring the chicken is warmed through.
  7. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish.

Notes

Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after cooking for juicier meat. Consider adding lemon juice or herbs while simmering for extra flavor.
