A simple and delicious slow cooker dish combining tender chicken with creamy ranch flavors and bacon, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 block cream cheese (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing the chicken breasts in your crock pot, laying them flat in a single layer.
  2. Evenly sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the chicken.
  3. Add the block of cream cheese right on top of the ranch seasoning.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Once the cooking time is over, shred the chicken in the pot using two forks.
  6. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon, stirring until it’s melted and combined.
  7. Serve the crack chicken on buns, over rice, or as preferred, garnishing with chopped green onions.

Notes

You can swap the cream cheese for Greek yogurt for a lighter option. For a spicy twist, trade ranch seasoning for buffalo sauce.
