  • 4 pieces skinless boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Caramelized onions (for garnish, if desired)
  • Shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the chicken stock and honey, stirring to combine. Allow to simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Add seasoned chicken to the skillet. Cook for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
