A tenderizing marinade that transforms chicken breasts into a juicy and flavorful dish, perfect for grilling or baking.

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 pound chicken breasts

Instructions

  1. Whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, black pepper, oregano, and paprika in a large bowl.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible to maximize flavor absorption.
  4. Gently shake the bag to ensure the chicken is evenly coated in the marinade.
  5. Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes, or up to 480 minutes for deeper flavor.
  6. Once marinated, take the chicken from the bag and discard the marinade.
  7. Grill or bake the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Notes

For best results, consider marinating overnight. This recipe is also versatile enough for pork or tofu.
