Delightful and fluffy German Pancakes that puff up beautifully in the oven, perfect for any brunch or breakfast.

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • Powdered sugar (for serving)
  • Syrup (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. In an ungreased 9×13-inch metal baking dish, place 5 tablespoons of butter and let it melt in the oven while you prepare the batter.
  3. In a blender, combine the eggs, milk, flour, salt, and vanilla extract. Cover and blend until smooth.
  4. Once the butter has melted completely, carefully pour the batter into the baking dish over the melted butter.
  5. Bake for 22-27 minutes, until the pancake edges are golden brown and puffed up beautifully.
  6. To serve, generously sprinkle with powdered sugar and drizzle with syrup.

Notes
