Delicious high-protein bagel bites combining creamy cheese filling with warm bagels, perfect for a quick snack or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole grain bagel
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine cottage cheese, shredded cheese, the egg, green onions, and everything bagel seasoning in a bowl, mixing until smooth.
  3. Cut the whole grain bagel in half and arrange the halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture generously onto each bagel half, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the bagel edges are nicely toasted.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
