A delicious and nutritious high-protein banana bread recipe that is easy to prepare and perfect for breakfast or snacks.

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup protein powder
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Add honey (or maple syrup), Greek yogurt, and eggs to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the whole wheat flour, protein powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gradually, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
