A hearty, creamy chicken dish with bold Cajun flavors, perfect for busy weeknights or special gatherings.

  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tsp Oregano
  • 1 Tsp Thyme
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tsp Chilli Powder
  • 800 g Chicken Breast (cut into halves)
  • 1.5 Tbsp Cajun Seasoning Mix
  • 2 Tsp Olive Oil
  • 25 g Grass Fed Butter for Cooking
  • 1 Medium Red Onion (chopped)
  • 45 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
  • 0.5 Tbsp Cajun Seasoning Mix
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
  • 15 g Grass Fed Butter
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 150 g Light Cream Cheese
  • 40 g Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Mix 1.5 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning with 2 teaspoons of olive oil, and marinate the chicken overnight.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Sear marinated chicken in a hot pan with 25g of butter until golden brown. Rest and slice.
  3. Sauté the Aromatics: In the same pan, sauté chopped red onion and garlic until fragrant, then add the remaining Cajun seasoning.
  4. Combine with Rice: Stir in cooked rice, add 15g of butter, and whisk in milk, cream cheese, and Parmesan until creamy.
  5. Serve: Plate rice, top with sliced chicken, and drizzle creamy sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added heat, consider doubling Cajun seasoning or adding crushed red pepper flakes.
