Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken strip into the beaten eggs, allowing excess egg to drip off.
  4. Coat the chicken strip well with the breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to help it stick.
  5. Place the coated chicken strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Lightly spray the chicken strips with cooking spray or drizzle them with olive oil to ensure crispiness.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tenders are golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

For a healthier twist, consider using whole grain breadcrumbs or adding spices like Italian seasoning or cayenne for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for crispiness.
