A quick and easy dish featuring tender chicken thighs coated in a sweet and savory honey-garlic glaze, perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the chicken thighs. Sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the chicken and bring to a simmer.
  5. Cook the chicken in the sauce for another 5-10 minutes, or until cooked through and the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, use bone-in, skin-on thighs. Double the sauce if desired for extra glaze.
