  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Optional: Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
  3. Prepare the cornstarch by mixing it with water until smooth.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken thighs, cooking for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook while stirring for about 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  7. Serve hot with the thickened sauce, garnishing with sesame seeds and sliced green onions, if desired.
