  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a dish and pour the marinade over the chicken.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 4 hours.
  4. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken for up to 4 hours. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F.
