A tender and succulent chicken dish with a rich, creamy sauce infused with ranch and sun-dried tomatoes, topped with fresh basil.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then brown each side for about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Once the chicken is browned, sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the top. Add the sun-dried tomatoes and parmesan cheese layers.
  5. Pour the chicken broth around the chicken in the skillet.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  7. Finish by sprinkling fresh basil over the dish and serve hot.

Notes

Make sure your skillet is hot enough before adding the chicken for perfect searing. Allow chicken to rest after cooking to lock in juices. Don’t skip the fresh basil for flavor and visual appeal.
