A delicious, hearty breakfast casserole that’s low in carbs and packed with protein, perfect for brunch or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of breakfast sausage
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  4. Stir in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese until evenly mixed.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few moments before slicing and serving.
