Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well blended.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
  3. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes to lock in the juices.
  7. Slice the chicken and serve it garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, swap chicken for tofu. Ensure to adjust the cooking time accordingly.
