A quick and delicious one-pan meal featuring juicy chicken breasts, crisp green beans, and bold lemon-garlic flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and thoroughly cooked. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the trimmed green beans and pour in the lemon juice. Cook for about 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to soak in the garlic butter sauce for a minute.
  7. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley, if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

For best results, check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. You can also substitute chicken thighs or use frozen green beans for quicker prep.
