A creamy, savory dish featuring chicken breasts in a rich sauce of heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a splash of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Place them in the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. Add sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, and heavy cream to the same pan. Stir well to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until it melts into a creamy sauce.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, letting it simmer in the sauce for about 10 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream or vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
