A delightful dish featuring creamy sauce and tender chicken, perfect for impressing guests or a cozy family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until lightly golden. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  3. Lower the heat and add minced garlic and chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring gently to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Allow to simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, ensuring it’s well-coated in the sauce. Simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a little chicken broth or cream to keep the sauce smooth.
