A delightful dish featuring succulent chicken breasts in a creamy, rich Parmesan sauce, perfect for impressing on date nights.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning some of the creamy sauce over the top.
  8. Let it simmer for a few more minutes to meld the flavors together.
  9. Serve the chicken on a bed of pasta, rice, or potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter option, use skinless chicken breasts and reduced-fat Parmesan. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
