A creamy, garlicky chicken pasta dish that’s quick to prepare and perfect for impressing family and guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the creamy sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Slice the chicken and arrange it on top of the pasta.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of chicken broth or cream if too thick.
