A delightful dish combining tender chicken, creamy sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup spinach (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain it and set it aside.
  2. Generously season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
  5. Reduce the heat to low in the same skillet, and add the heavy cream, gently bringing it to a simmer.
  6. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  7. Return the cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet, adding spinach if desired. Toss everything together until thoroughly heated throughout.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for added flavor and nutrition. Make sure the skillet is hot enough before adding the chicken for a nice sear.
